As you read through our website, you may come across some terms that are new to you. This glossary will help you understand what they mean and make selecting your experience a better informed one.
FCR - Formula Challenge Racing
Formula Challenge Car/FC - our own designed and built Single Seater racecar.
Formula Challenge V8 - our own race prepared Holden or Ford V8 racecar.
Cost – The fee paid for that particular experience. Included in the cost is:
- Experience Registration
- GST
- Use of FCR safety clothing and vehicle for both V8 and FC and an in-car consultant if your driving the V8.
- Presentation pack consisting of picture, certificate with lap time and an if when you do the FC you also get a data trace from the onboard computer (individual FC experiences only).
- Tea and coffee for drivers, guest and spectators
Session - One outing in either a Formula Challenge single seater or V8 racecar. The amount of laps you do will vary depending on the track.
Damage Indemnity Waiver - All drivers are liable for any damage that occurs when using any Formula Challenge vehicle, equipment or the race track. There is a maximum excess of $4000. For a addtional waiver fee of $50 for a single session experience or $100 for an double session experience, this excess amount can be reduced to $300.
Tuition Lap – driven by our Tuition driver is designed to show the customer and their chosen passenger the correct line and points around the circuit. This is done in a road-going car.
Upgrade -The driver may add a session in any car for $250. The amount of laps in the session will vary depending on the track.
In-car Consultant - they will be sitting beside you in the V8 ensuring that you get around the track safely and get the most out of your experience at Formula Challenge.
